Hosted Exchange 2007 - Outlook Configuration

Outlook 2007

  1. If your DNS service provider is EntirelyDigital, you can skip this step - Ensure your domain has a DNS CNAME record for autodiscover with value:
  2. Start Outlook 2007, the new account wizard will pop up.
  3. Enter your Name, email address and password supplied by your administrator and click next.
  4. Outlook will now download autoconfiguration information from our servers.
  5. You will see a pop-up asking "Allow to configure outlook?"  You must answer YES to this dialog box
  6. Click Finish
  7. That's it, outlook is now configured.


Outlook 2003

  1. Ensure you have installed SP3 for Microsoft Outlook 2003
  2. Start Outlook 2003, you will be prompted with the new account wizard.
  3. Select "add new email account" then click next
  4. Select "Microsoft Exchange Server" then click next
  5. Insert in the box Microsoft Exchange Server
  6. Check off "Use cached exchange mode"
  7. Enter your email address in the username box
  8. Click more settings, click the connection tab
  9. Check "connect to my exchange mailbox using HTTP" then click Exchange Proxy Settings button
  10. enter in HTTPS://URL dialog box
  11. Check Connect using SSL only
  12. Chck "Mutually authenticate..."
  13. Enter in the Principal name for proxy server box
  14. Check "On fast networks..."
  15. Select "Basic Authentication" for proxy authentication settings.
  16. Click OK, OK, Next, Finish
  17. That's it, outlook is now configured.
