After creating a blackberry user, BES activation is not successful.
Please ensure the following conditions are met:
- You have confirmed with your mobile data/blackberry provider that you have BES activated on your mobile plan (not BIS)
- You have backed up your blackberry, done a device wipe.
- You have filled in the "Company Name" field for the users mailbox - the company name field is mandatory for BES activation to work.
Once your activation is successful, you can restore selected databases from the backup you made using the desktop manager.
